‘GRIND’: Roberta Orioma’s 10-part Series Set To Debut On Prime Video Come January 20

GRIND, a 10-part series by Roberta Orioma is set to debut on Prime Video come January 20.

The series follows Tarela, a struggling girl turns stripper who tries to navigate the hardship of pursuing her dreams while working in a Lagos nightclub. GRIND tells a riveting story of survival, tenacity, family, friendships, and chasing dreams.

Released under Tunani Productions and directed by rising star Orire Nwanu, GRIND features the likes of Uzor Arukwe, Chris Iheuwa, Eso Dike, Daniel Abua, Roberta Orioma, Roseanne Chikwendu, Steve Enagbare, Harriet Akinola, and with Tamara Sindio-Apaun and Oluedo Blessing Tochi in supporting roles.

Giving an inkling on what to expect from the series, executive producer Roberta Orioma said,

“truth… we spent a lot of time developing the story, and the audience will connect deeply with the characters and their struggles for a better life. These characters are real to me, I understand and feel their pain and the audience will too.”

The 10-part series begins streaming on January 20th with its first three episodes on Prime Video.
