Nollywood actor turned politician Desmond Elliot has been seen as a villain by the Nigerian populace since the 2020 incident where he referred to the youths as “children”.

With a few days to go until his possible re-election, Hon. Elliot has been making some moves that haven’t seen him come across as genuine, which isn’t helping his cause; this includes, going on multiple media rounds and addressing the 2020 incidents publicly for the first time and, now, installing transformers for members of his constituents who’ve been stuck in darkness for a very long time.
