Nigerian cable TV giants StarTimes began their Xmas Awoof promotion today, Wednesday November 10, with the aim of bringing top notch entertainment to families at very affordable cost. The promo will end on the 10th of January 2022.

Announcing the launch of the promo, StarTimes PR manager Lazarus Ibeabuchi said, “Christmas is around the corner and it is the season of love, fun, and entertainment. However, love is never complete without giving and this is why StarTimes has launched the ‘Xmas Awoof’ promo, a gift to our darling subscribers this season,” Lazarus Ibeabuchi, PR Manager, StarTimes Nigeria said.

“As Christmas approaches, families like to spend quality time watching TV series and movies together at home. Okirika and Ile Alayo are coming. Likewise, we introduced three sister channels of Zee World on November 1 alongside a new Nollywood channel. “Okirika” stars an ensemble cast, including Iyabo Ojo, Mr. Macaroni, Zicsaloma, Muka Ray, Jide Kosoko, Ini Edo, Korede Bello, Olaiya Igwe, Yinka Quadri, Binta Ayo-Mogaji, Toyin Abraham, Toro Aramide, Yvonne Jegede, Jide ‘Jblaze’ Oyegbile, and Kitan Bukola.

Meanwhile, “Ile Alayo,” is written by Femi Adebayo, and will bring the struggles of living in a typical Lagos “face me I face you” neighbourhood.
