Upcoming Rapper? Here’s A Chance at Stardom with The Boomplay PassTheMic Challenge

Pan-African music streaming platform Boomplay has unveiled a first of its kind rap cypher for upcoming artists in Africa’s Rap/HipHop genre. In case you missed it, the challenge is tagged #PassTheMic and kicked off on the 16th of May.

How to participate in the Boomplay PassTheMic Challenge

Boomplay’s PassTheMic challenge is targeted at supporting budding rappers and spur them to showcase thier talents more. The first phase of the campaign will see participants record a video freestyle over any of two cypher beats avaible on the Boomplay app.

2. Record your freestyle on one of the official beats.
3. Upload your video on Instagram using #BoomplayPTM and tag @boomplaymusicng

The Pass The Mic Cypher will run from 16th May 2022 to 25th July 2022. To partake in this challenge, you must also be following all Boomplay social media pages.
