Controversial Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has made a U-turn with his sexuality made public. While reacting to a Sharia court ruling that recently sentenced a man in Bauchi to death for being gay, Maduagwu took to his Instagram page (in a now deleted post) on Monday, July 5, 2022, to reveal he’s “100% gay” and that no one can take it away from him.
“I was arrested, beaten for 3 hours and told to deny being Gay…I am 100% GAY not even buhari can take away my Jesus given identity #ImpeachBadPresident”
He went on to call on President Joe Biden of the USA to call his Nigerian colleague to order:

“Dear President Joe Biden, we need the US government to sanction President Buhari and his top advisers over ignoring the Fundamental Human rights of #LGBT in Nigeria, just few days ago, a Sharia court sentence #Gay men to be STONED, is this our country a #Democracy or #Banana Republic?”
Uche Maduagwu’s recent declaration on social media is coming barely one year after publicly denying being gay.
