“I would like the government to consider it a public holiday.” Diamond Platnumz Urges Tanzania Government

Sensational Tanzanian singer, Diamond Platnumz has declared his desire – he wants his wedding day declared public holiday in Tanzania, as he continued with plans to get married to his Kenyan model girlfriend, Tanasha Donna Barbieri.

This statement got to the public space via a recent interview Diamond was engaged in. In it was where he explained that he wants the government to consider his wish so that all his family members can attend the ceremony, without having to ditch any other activity scheduled for that day too.

In his words, he said:
“The reason why we had to change the date is because Tanasha’s mother will be working on Valentine’s Day. I do not want a small wedding, if it is possible I would like the government to consider it a public holiday…”

Well, wonders like they say, would never cease to exist. Everyone wants to exercise the power bestowed upon them. Public holiday for wedding? Even Dangote, the richest man in Africa, whose daughter got married last year, didn’t urge the government of Nigeria to make the day a public holiday. What kind of mediocre thinking is that!

Well, still he has his personal reasons. Any-which-way, I wish him well on his relationship journey.
