After going more than a year without a scrap of news, the good folks over at Amazon Studios have finally given an update on when to expect Mark Grayson back on our screens.

Invincible debuted on Prime Video in March 2021 and over the course of 8 glorious, quite graphic animated episodes introduced 17-year-old Mark Grayson, son of Viltrumite, Nolan Grayson based on characters from the comic book of the same name created by Robert Kirkman.

The show’s first season concluded with an epic face-off between father and son that viewers won’t soon forget. The showdown ended with Omni-man jetting off-world to God knows where (presumably Viltrum) leaving both a battered Invincible behind and fans on the edge of their seats, curious to find out what comes next.

During an interview by Collider with Veron Sanders, Head of Television at Amazon Studios, he revealed that new episodes of Invincible will be coming to the streaming service in 2023 although an exact premiere date was not given.

Sanders’ revelation doesn’t exactly give up much, but it is something to hold on to for fans like myself yearning to find out what adventures lie ahead for Mark.
