Ireti Doyle Confirms Divorce From Veteran Actor, Patrick Doyle

One of Nollywood’s earliest acting power couple, Ireti Doyle and Patrick Doyle are now officially divorced.

The Tinsel actress made the confirmation in an interview with Chude Jideonwo saying, “we are officially divorced”

During the interview, Chude disclosed how Ireti endured physical and domestic abuse as a teen, a claim which she supported by admitted marrying at the age she did was a mistake, not to mention who she was married to.

She said; “The truth of the matter is that I had no business being married at that time talk less of… let’s not even go to the choice of who I got married to.”

She also corrected a false assumption that she had her first child at 17, saying she became a mother at 19.

Ireti and Patrick Doyle married in 2004 having a total of six children together sadly losing one to sickle cell disease.

In 2017, Ireti moved out of her husbands house after a dispute with her husband. Two years later, Patrick Doyle publicly apologized to her, admitting to being responsible for their marriage troubles.
