The Real Housewives of Lagos, Showmax’ highly anticipated Nigerian edition of NBC Universal’s ‘The Real Housewives’ show is finally set to air in April.
The show which was in production for the most part of 2021 promises to take the viewers on an exciting journey following the lives of six women in Lagos.

Set to debut on the 8th of April 2022, it will feature a steamy cast of socialites including Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, fashion designer, Toyin Lawani, entrepreneur and brand influencers, Chioma Ikokwu and Laura Ikeji, former actress, Caroline Danjuma and content creator, Mariam Adeyemi Timmer
News of the new show first made headlines in September 2021 with the streamer confirming it will build on the success of the first two African editions- ‘The Real Housewives of Johannesburg’ and ‘The Real Housewives of Durban’.
‘The Real Housewives of Lagos’ will be Showmax’s third Nigerian original and second reality show. The first, ‘I Am Laycon’ premiered early 2021 while the Basketmouth’s series ‘Ghana Jollof’ released to positive reviews later in October.
