Joeboy is onto big things this year, with his sophomore album expected to drop in this first quarter. His first single of the year, “Body and Soul” has just got a Perliks-directed video. The video offers an interesting take on young love as well as commitment. Without being ready, Joeboy finds out that his lower is pregnant and they are both caught between the age-long dilemma of aborting the pregnancy, breaking things up, or sticking to each other. Eventually, true love prevails through commitment, and the couple welcomes their child at the end of the video.
The self-acclaimed “Lover Boy” has been making cool moves in this studio lately, not just putting finishing touches to his anticipated project, but also appearing on a couple of collaborations, including the latest one “Designer” with Major Lazer and Major League DJz.
