Veteran Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has been elected as the National Public Relations Officer for the prestigious Actor’s Guild of Nigeria.
The news was disclosed by the National Secretary of the AGN, Abubakar Yakubu in a statement in Lagos on Tuesday.
He revealed that Henshaw was elected unopposed on January 9th during a by-election at a special National Executive Council meeting to fill a few vacant posts.
“Henshaw sill be in charge of disseminating strategic communication among guild and non-guild members,” he said.
He also revealed that Michael Yusuf will be replacing Alhaji Wash Waziri as the Vice President of the AGN, North West Zone after he defeated Rilwan Ibiefo.
AGN is reported to be the largest Actor association in the culture sector of Africa.
