American singer and songwriter, Katy Perry has always voiced out her candid opinions about social media despite being one of the most followed people in the world.
On April 14, she once again aired her views in a series of tweets.
In 2017, she tweeted she can’t wait until Instagram culture is over so we can all be ourselves again. She told Refinery 29 in 2018, a lot of us are living for that picture, and then the currency is the likes. It’s hard because I’d rather not care about that and just live my life.
The Dark Horse singer appears on American Idols as a judge and is also a new mom to daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, whom she welcomed with her fiancé and Hollywood actor, Orlando Bloom in August 2020.
Katy’s Instagram account is currently the 20th most followed accounts according to Brand Watch. She is also the 3rd most followed person on Twitter with her 109.5million followers.
We do not know what sparked her recent outburst but, she signed out by tweeting anyways. lly, meaning Licking love you to her 109.5m followers on Twitter.
