Hollywood action star Keanu Reeves has weighed in on popular fan opinion that he’d be perfect for the role of Ghost Rider in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Ghost Rider is one of Marel Comics most iconic characters, squaring off against several demonic threats throughout the years including Lucifer himself. Empowered by the Spirit of Vengance, the Ghost Rider moniker has been passed down to several characters through out the comics although most often associated with Johnny Blaze.
Nicholas Cage first brought the Johnny Blaze reincarnation to life in the 2007 film and its 2011 sequel Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengance. In Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, the Blaze version of the character was briefly featured before focusing on Gabriel Luna’s Robbie Reyes who’s planned solo show on Hulu got shelved when Marvel Television folded into Marvel Studios.
While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to discuss his comic book BRZRKR, Keanu Reeves coyishly shared an interest in bringing Ghost Rider to live again for the MCU. See what Reeves said below;
10-year-old me would want to – I think he’d probably want to be Ghost Rider.
