Kevin Conroy, the voice of Batman, is dead

Kevin Conroy, the renowned voice actor is reported to have died yesterday at 66 after a brief battle with cancer.

Conroy voiced Batman across many generations in animated movies & TV shows like Batman: The Animated Series (1992 – 1995), Batman: The Killing Joke (2016), and Batman Beyond (1999 – 2001), to mention but a few. Before its cancellation, the actor even had a guest role in The CW’s The Batwoman.

Kevin Conroy had a distinct voice and was loved by many for the depth he brought to the Dark Knight’s character.

Now his watch has ended, he will be missed.
