Korra Obidi and Justin Dean Are Officially Divorced

In case you missed it, Korra Obidi and Justin Dean are officially exes, the court announced their divorce on Friday, November 18.

However, the bad blood between the two former lovers was evident for all to see when an excited Korra took to Facebook to break the news and ex-husband Dean criticised her, alluding that the dancer was celebrating failure.

Both parties have been trying to finalize their separation since March this year, but found it difficult to reach a compromise prior to Friday, with issues over financial settlement and who gets full custody of their two children fiercely contested.

After Korra shared how excited she was to become a free woman again, Dean reacted in a Facebook Live appearance, saying that divorce is tantamount to failure, and is never something to be celebrated. He added that his major concern is, making sure his daughters get the best possible parenting and are raised right.

For Korra, she’s often cut the more frustrated and exhausted figure throughout this divorce process. At one point, she accused Dean of asking for spousal support and trying completely block her from seeing her two kids. Victory for her was always going to mean getting full custody of the children, and that’s what’s happened.
