An alleged thug, who claimed to be angry because women have been rejecting his love overtures has been arrested after he attempts to kill a five-year-old boy in revenge.
Twenty-four-year-old thug identified as Emmanuel Aranda, who lives in Minneapolis area of USA, had thrown a five-year-old boy off the third floor of a shopping mall.
When the police arrested him, he told them that he had actually come there to “look for someone to kill,” Yahoo News UK reports.
He told police that he was angry at being rejected by women.
Aranda made his first appearance in court on Tuesday, in which he confirmed he lived in a shelter for homeless persons.
His five-year-old victim, Landen Hoffmann, was thrown three floors down, and has been admitted to emergency room at a Minneapolis hospital, having sustained head trauma and multiple broken bones during the unprovoked attack.
Prosecutors recalled that Aranda, in 2015, threw a glass of water and a glass of tea at a woman who refused to buy him something.
At one point, he was banned from the Minneapolis Mall, prosecutors said; while court records show that he had also been ordered to undergo psychological evaluation.
Aranda originally said he planned to kill an adult before choosing the child instead, the criminal complaint said.
Aranda was born in Chicago, where Cook County court documents showed a 2014 arrest for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon at a Golden Nugget restaurant in the city.
His bail has been set at $2m, with hearing for his case adjourned till May 14.
