It’s the weekend! Yes!!

Although, we have only two days to rest from all of Lagos’ hassle and bustle, there’s no better way to unwind than to watch a movie. A really good one.

If you are a fan of comedy mixed with lots of drama, you would definitely enjoy this thread of movies showing in the cinema right now.

THE PROPHETESS

This movie tells the story of Ajoke, a local prophetess who makes a bogus prediction about a football match which sets off a chain of events beyond her control. 

Cast includes: Toyin Abraham, Deyemi Okanlawon, Kehinde Bankole, Stan Nze, Uzor arukwe, Kunle Remi.

BREADED LIFE

This comic drama tells a story of an irresponsible young man in conflict with his mother wakes up one day and to his surprise, no-one he knows can recognize him, except for a local bread hawker

Cast: Timini Egbuson, Bimbo Ademoye, Tina Mba, Bisola Aiyeola, Mc Lively, Funny Bone, Lateef Adedimeji. 

THE WAIT

This simple story takes us through the journey of two couples, a job seeker, and a passionate doctor, how their lives intertwine in a tale of patience and redemption

Cast: Ini Dima Okoje, Jimmy Odukoya, Deyemi Okanlawon, Nse Ikpe Etim.

DREAM JOB

The story of a mummy’s boy that seems to be unlucky in securing his dream job. He however, has a taste of success when he finds luck from a strange beggers prayers, leading him to live the life of his dream.

Cast: Williams Uchemba, Sophie Alakija, Timini Egbuson, Ngozi Nwosu, Stanley Chibuna. 

SUGA SUGA

The story is centered on the family of Dr. Durojaiye, a wealthy billionaire whose lust for young girls tears his family apart. Everyone’s little act of craziness brings the family back together, as an affair considered to be a threat to the family blossoms.

Cast includes: Wole Ojo, Taiwo Obileye, Tana Adelana, Gregory Ojefua, Christian Paul, Ayo Adesanya.
