Critically acclaimed queen of film & theatre productions in Nigeria, Bolanle Austen Peters (BAP) recently took to her Instagram page to reveal she’s getting her very own Netflix Original titled ‘Man of God’.
The upcoming movie follows Samuel Obalolu, the first son of a strict disciplinarian pastor, who finally “liberates himself” from his oppressed upbringing as “the preacher’s son”. After a few failed relationships and heartbreaks, Samuel, ironically, finds himself behind the pulpit with a wife he doesn’t love, a deep resentment born of the abuse of his upbringing, and the skeletons of his past relationships threatening to upstage his success and ruin his life.
Judging by the synopsis, it looks like fans of quality Nollywood entertainment are in for a great treat.
