MAVIN Records’ Arya Starr Set to Drop First Studio Album in August

 It’s been an incredible rise to stardom for model, singer, and songwriter Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe aka Arya Star. From posting cover songs on Instagram to landing a record deal with Don Jazzy and the famous MAVIN records in little over 2 years, and now she’s about to drop her first major studio compilation.

Confirming the news, Starr took to Instagram, sharing a snippet seemed like a snippet of the album’s intro, with the caption, “My debut album. 19 & Dangerous. August 6 Bad man bad every day.” Check out the post below:

Arya Starr’s musical range encompasses Afropop, R&B and soul. She signed with Don Jazzy in 2019 and earlier this year, on the 22nd of January she dropped a self-titled extended play. Collaborating with producers Don Jazzy, Loudaaa, and Dayogrey, Arya Starr was a 5-track project that contained the hit song Away.

It received positive reviews from critics and audience and went on to become the second most streamed Nigerian female project of the first quarter of the 2021. It has reached number one on Apple Music in 5 countries and has accumulated over 15 million streams across Spotify, YouTube & Audiomack.
