MI Jokes About Beefing with Friend, Banky W

On Friday, March 25, MI dropped his first single of 2022 entitled “Daddy,” a three-minute-long song produced by Chillz.

The Chocolate City CEO has been promoting the song on social media, and during the late hours of Monday, March 28, he joked in a tweet about starting a beef with friend and fellow musician Banky W.

“I am officially and publicly starting a beef with @BankyW He might think it’s a joke but I’m dropping a dis track on Friday for him for being a bad friend to me, wrote MI, adding two angry face emojis. He ended the tweet with, “Also stream my new single daddy,” followed by the streaming link for “Daddy.”

A few moments later, Banky W replied MI, saying: “Lol but you know you love me way too much for this,” with three ROTFL emojis. He continued “Everyone pls go and stream MI’s new song. And I promise I’ll do better bro leggoooo.”

It appears MI’s antic was to spur his friend Banky into sharing his new single. However, even after Banky shared it, MI followed up with another tweet promising to go along with releasing a diss track on Friday. Hilarious, right?
