Movie Rattlesnake: The Ahanna Story finally has an official Netflix premiere date

Fans can catch the classic Nollywood movie from July 2, 2021.

Months after its theatrical release in 2020, Play Network Studio’s reboot of Amaka Igwe’s classic film, ‘Rattlesnake’ is set to arrive Netflix. The completion of the license was originally announced earlier this month, but no actual date was set.

However, there is now a confirmation as to when fans can now stream the classic body of work on Netflix. Rattlesnake: The Ahanna Story will debut open for streaming from July 2, 2021. According to multiple reports confirmed by executive producer, Charles Okpaleke, the content is also licensed for international streaming.

Starring: Stan Nze, Bucci Franklin, Osas Ighodaro, Tobi Bakre, Odera Adimorah, Emeka Nwagbaraocha, Brutus Richards as well as Nollywood veterans Chinyere Wilfred, Chiwetelu Agu, Ejike Asiegbu, Nobert Young, Gloria Young and Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde.

Rattlesnake: The Ahanna Story (2020) was Directed by Ramsey Nouah, and follows Ahanna, a young man who sets up a gang of armed robbers after his mother and uncle were betrayed. The gang completes a series of heist until they eventually meet their fall.
