Nigerian music stars, Tunde and Wunmi Obe popularly known as T.W.O are celebrating 24 years of staying married to each other.
The showbiz couple took to their respective social media accounts today, June 26, 2022 celebrate their wedding anniversary with beautiful throwback photos.
Tunde on Twitter captioned his post with;
“How it started. Vs. How it’s going. 34 years of friendship.. 24 years of marriage.. Through ups and downs.. Good times and bad times.. Side by side.. I will always love you @WunmiObe .. Happy anniversary, sweetheart!”
While Wunmi on Instagram appreciated God for keeping them together for many years.
“24 years don waka like play like play, but we still dey carry go.. Thank you Father.. We are truly grateful It’s our anniversary #T.W.O #june26”
The duo Babatunde Edward Obe and Omowunmi Valerie Aboderin met and began their music careers as undergraduates in a band in the 90s.
Although the band dissolved after graduation, the couple stayed together and released their debut album “Sealed” in 1998 under their first recording contract from Zmirage in 1997.
With their record label ‘KopyKats Entertainment’, T.W.O have released five albums together, which features other music stars such as 2baba, 9ice, Mode 9, and Ruggedman.
Their marriage is blessed with three children, Modesayo, Ricardo and Andre Obe.
