Burna Boy Reveals the Cost of Sampling Toni Braxton on “Last Last”

Burna Boy

Burna Boy says 60 percent of the royalties from his hit single Last Last goes to American RNB singer Toni Braxton. This is as a result of Burna Boy sampling the American 2000 R&B hit song, He Wasn’t Man Enough.

Burna apparently made the revelation during a Podcast recording session, of which a snippet video has been making the rounds on the internet.

Last Last released arrived on May 13 with a self-directed visual, after Burna had performed the song during his Madison Square Garden performance. The song has since received positive worldwide acclaim, and made Spotify’s prediction as one of the songs of summer 2022.

It is also one of the lead singles for the prolific singer’s forthcoming sixth studio album, Love, Damini.
