Reality TV star Nengi Rebecca Hampson rolled back the years during her 24th birthday photoshoot. Born on new year’s day 1998, Nengi clocked 24 on January 1 2022, and took us back in time with her regency fashion themed outfits. All of which were the handiwork of popular Nigerian and pan-African stylist Jeremiah Ogbodo, aka Swakyjerry.
Swanky’s styling do not come cheap, and according to Nengi, her 24th birthday photoshoot outfits cost her a whooping 35K USD. That’s about 15 million naira according to standard exchange rates.
One of Nengi’s outfit was a faded-peach coloured off-shoulder armless gown, adorned with beads around the edges. Nengi wore the gown with matching pair of arm gloves and a hat.
However, the outfit that scream regency the most is a golden, off-shoulder short-arm ball gown with a royal-red embroidery finish around the flare. And most importantly, many fashion experts will agree she wore the outfits well.
According to some people, 35K dolls might be little too much money to spend on a single photoshoot, even for a birthday, but if the baby girl loves it, and doesn’t bother anyone to pay for them, then why not!
