Next Michael Jackson? Blaqbonez Says He’s Now Taking Breakdancing Lessons

Rapper, singer, and songwriter Blaqbonez teased he could be set for a new evolution. In a tweet shared by the “Bling” singer on Wednesday, June 22, he’s now taking dance lessons.

Predominantly a rapper, Blaqbonez debuted his first album “Sex Over Love” in 2021; a mixture of Afrobeats, Afropop and Rap. And now he has teased his intention to start a music video revolution in Nigeria, promising to bring back breakdancing, a dance style popularized by the legendary Michael Jackson, and revolutionized by younger artists Usher, Chris Brown, and PSquare.

Blaqbonez also wants to see more group dancer wear matching outfits.

“I’ve started taking break dancing lessons, bringing a new style to Nigerian music videos, I’m bringing back that psquare dancing under rain, plus chris brown and crew wearing matching red and yellow outfits, with a touch of Flavors waist movements.
Exciting times ahead 🕺,” read Blaqbonez’s tweet.
