With barely three weeks left until the worldwide release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Walt Disney Studios in association with Africa International Film Festival (ARFIFF) and FilmOne Entertainment has announced that Nigeria will host the official African premiere of the marvel blockbuster.
The highly anticipated sequel to the 2018 smashing hit set to bring MCU’s Phase 4 to a close will bring the latest chapter of the Wakandan kingdom to life in Lagos in early November ahead of its cinema premiere release from Friday 11 November 2022 across Africa.
Founder of AFRIFF, Chioma Ude in a statement reflected on the significance of the African premiere being hosted in Nigeria and having a first of its kind association with the festival in November.
“We are excited and proud to be a part of the premiere of this milestone film here in Africa. This is huge for the continent of Africa as it symbolizes to us further bridging of the gaps between the global film industries,” she said.”
Through the association with AFRIFF and FilmOne, Black Panther 2 will play hosts to film industry stake holders from across Africa and the world at large, kicking off the continent wide celebrations.
