You guessed it – or maybe you didn’t- Blood Sisters has officially made it to Netflix’s global Top 10 most-watched original ranking.

Taking to Instagram to break the good news, an elated Mo Abudu, Executive Producer of the miniseries, said:

“It’s with pleasure and excitement that we inform you that BLOOD SISTERS has made the NETFLIX TOP TEN GLOBAL LIST OF TV SHOWS, WITH ELEVEN MILLION HOURS VIEWED IN THE LAST FIVE DAYS in our FIRST WEEK OF LAUNCH.

This is our time, A TV SHOW MADE IN NIGERIA FOR THE WORLD.

From the analysis of this list, we have performed better than some shows made in the UK and the United States of America!!!”

Blood Sisters follows the adventure of Kemi (Nancy Isime) and Sarah (Ini Dima-Okojie), two best friends who become fugitives after finding themselves in a mess neither was expecting. Against an array of obstacles, their bond helps forge ahead as they hope to either clear their names or outrun their demons.

The four-episode limited series boasts an ensemble cast of Ramsey Noah, Nancy Isime, Kate Henshaw, Wale Ojo, Ini Dima-Okojie, Kehinde Bankole, Deyemi Okanlawon, and Gabriel Afolayan amongst others. It is currently streaming on Netflix.
