Omah Lay reportedly acquires 500 million naira property, but fans don’t believe it costs that much

A source close to singer Omah Lay shared a photo via Twitter on Wednesday Sep. 27, with a caption suggesting Lay had just spent half a billion naira (500 million naira) on a new property. However, fans questioned the integrity of the news, alleging that the cost of the property had been bloated by the source.

One fan tried to compare Omah Lay’s net worth (according to google) to the cost of the property, saying Lay is worth around 500K USD, hence cannot afford a property of 1.1 million USD.

Another fan pointed to the remoteness of the property as depicted in the photo: “So nah inside this bush omah lay wan dey leave omo the boy is alone true true😏”
