Mavin Records: “Overdose” Overtakes “Palazzo” to Become The No. 1 Song on Apple Music Chart for Nigeria

Mavin Overdose

Released on may 13, “Overdose” debuted in the top 10 of the Apple Music Top 100 Nigeria Chart.

Mavin Records all star cast (Crayon, Ayra Starr & Ldipoe Feat. Magixx & Boy Spyce) have displaced DJ Spinall and Asake’s “Palazzo” to claim the number one spot on Apple Music’s Top 100 Chart for Nigeria.

“Palazzo” had been occupying the position for nearly a week after overtaking Burna Boy’s “Last Last.” The Apple Music Top 100 Nigeria Chart is based solely on how people living in the region of Nigeria are streaming and is updated everyday.

“Overdose” which has received more than 170K searches on Shazam, and premiered with a music video with over 2million views and counting on YouTube now now occupies the No. position on the regional chart, with “Palazzo” and “Last Last” completing the top 3.

However, given the volatile characteristics of Nigerian streamers, songs drop in and out of positions especially near the summit.
