PR Stunt or Did Blaqbonez Just Shoot His Shot at Ayra Starr?

Blaqbonez, as well as his versatile musical talent is renowned for social media and PR stunts. The Choc City rapper has always bashed ‘love’ in his lyrics and went on to title his debut list play ‘Sex Over Love.’

Bonez released ‘Sex Over Love‘ to mixed reception in mid-2021 and later that year, stunned fans when he appeared to celebrate his girlfriend online. In early 2021, the ‘Go Home’ singer held a concert in Lagos titled ‘Breaking The Yoke of Love.’

During the late hours of Tuesday, July 6 and a day after his joint album with M.I Abaga, Loose Kanyon, and AQ entitled ‘Behold The Lamb’ was released exclusively on Boomplay, Blaqbonez tweeted: “Ayra Star fine asf.”

Some moments later, he changed his Twitter profile picture to the Mavin Records’ singer’s photo.

However, whether it was simply a PR stunt, or whether the rapper was using one stone to target two birds (as ‘Behold The Lamb‘ released on all streaming platforms last night), we’re not sure.

Nonetheless, he didn’t lie; Ayra Starr is fine AF, and Blaqbonez may have also been shooting his shot at the singer.
