Nigerian hip hop recording artist, Yun6ix got robbed in the US this weekend. According to him, his entire life was in the SUV and the incident took place while he was moving to a new apartment.

Details of the swag was revealed in a caption that accompanied a CCTV footage the rapper posted on Instagram, and we could hear Yung6ix rant “Oh my God!” while reporting to what seemed like security personnel, adding that the culprit might be a white person.
According to the caption on the post the robbers made away with about $7000, his iPhone, his laptop allegedly containing his new projects, Sony Playstation 5 gaming console, and some studio recording equipment. Various fans and well wishers, including comedian igosave took to the comment section to sympathize with him.

Born Onome Onokohwomo in 1989, Yung6ix has been active since 2009. Some of his biggest hits include the Wizkid assisted song, Follow Me, Respek On My Name, Kpansh, Before I Go Broke, etc. His verse on MI’s Illegal Music II track, Export remains one of the most iconic rap verses in Nigerian hip hop.
We hope the culprit can be identified so that Yung6ix can at least, recover the laptop containing his projects. Nonetheless, we wish him and his team a swift recovery.
