A mashup of two powerhouses, Big Brother Titans (BBTitans) is a first of its kind reality TV show in Africa, a shade of the pan-African Big Brother Africa, but with participation limited to South Africans and Nigerians alone.
The show kicked off on Sunday, January 15 and will run for 12-weeks. BBNaija’s Ebuka and BBMzansi’s Lawrence Maleka will alternate hosting duties.
Like we’ve seen in the previous editions of BB Naija and BB Africa, it takes a graceful, charming, charismatic, (sometimes) genuine, and (sometimes) good looking contestant to win. And based on what the BBTitans housemates said they’re bringing to the house; we’ve rated their chances of winning from 1-10.
Keep reading to see the housemates we think have the highest chances of winning.
Marvin (Nigeria): 8/10
Marvin wants to “be himself” and “make friends” in the house. Looks like he vibes really well; let’s see whether he has the content and grace to keep endearing himself to viewers.
Justin (South Africa): 6/10
Justin promised to bring ‘vibes and energy” to the house. That’s the first thing most housemates will be looking to bring. Let’s see whose own is more extra-extra.
Kanaga (Nigeria): 7/10
Abia-bron Kanaga’s tactics is to contribute to the drama in the house by playing pranks; great! As long as he doesn’t play himself out of the show.
Tsatsii (South Africa): 7/10
Tsatsii promises to be herself in the house. Anyways, doesn’t she look like an absolute drama queen in the clip above?
Jenni O (Nigeria): 6/10
What the people telling us they’ll be bringing drama to the house are forgetting is: That we’re more interested in knowing all the ingredients in their possession and how they intend to cook that drama.
Lukay (South Africa): 6/10
Jolly good fellow Lukay wants to love his housemates while bringing fun to the house. Hope they love him back. One-sided relationships can be damaging to his chances.
Ebubu (Nigeria): 6/10
Instead of playing his housemates to the prize, Ebubu intends to mindfuck millions of viewers into uprooting their beliefs. Wow. Put word out that we have a psychic in the BBTitans house.
Yaya (South Africa): 8/10
If you have a cupboard full of skeletons, better keep it away from detective Yaya. Because she will expose you. Yaya might just be the full package.
Jaypee (Nigeria): 7/10
Jaypee wants to be the life of the party– the most entertaining contestant in the house.
Thabang (South Africa): 7/10
Thabang is keeping the cat inside the bag. With him in the house, “expect to see the unexpected” when you tune in… sounds like real drama.
Ipeleng (South Africa): 7/10
Intellectuals are always loved until it gets to ‘nerd’ level, then it’s mehh. Already I pity for those who will get in argument with Ipeleng. But if this South African Lawyer is not a nerd, then maybe she can go all the way.
Nana (Nigeria): 5/10
For someone looking to add crazy vibes and drama, Nana looks rather deflated in the clip above. Let’s hope she’ll turn on the heat when it’s time.
Mmeli (South Africa): 7/10
Mmeli doesn’t want trouble, but he’s also ready to bring on fire when needed. Quite the diplomat.
Blaqboi (Nigerian): 8/10
Being in the middle of a whirlwind romance is a strategy that many victorious players of this game have explored in the past. Blaqboi knows. Can never fault a man who makes his intentions known from the start.
Nelisa (South Africa): 7/10
Apart from that she doesn’t look it (makes it scarier), Nelisa is chaos in the flesh. Let us hope she doesn’t find someone like Little Finger (say… Blaqboi) who might turn her personality into a ladder to reach the prize.
Olivia (Nigerian): 6/10
It’s about to be a movie, and Olivia from Nigeria will be hoping that her character will be one of the more likable ones from the show. Antagonist or protagonist? Guess we’ll see in the near future.
Juicy Jay (South Africa): 6/10
Juicy Jay is a semi-pro rugby player looking to cause a lot of drama in the house.
Yemi Cregx (Nigeria): 5/10
Yemi wants be in the middle of a love triangle; however, while there’s always plenty drama surrounding love triangles, it’s the kind of cliched stuff that can prove exhausting and exasperating to the viewers. He better tread carefully.
Khosi (South Africa): 6/10
Khosi hopes to endear herself to viewers by being extra. A little more of the good stuff is always welcome. But, only the good stuff.
Yvonne (Nigeria): 6/10
Troublemaker, Yvonne will be hoping that viewers buy into her shenanigans.
