Reality Tv Star, Uriel Reveals Why She Quit Music

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Uriel Oputa has disclosed why she quit after the reality tv show.

In a post shared on her Instagram page today, December 16, 2021, Oputa revealed the reason for her social media handle, “Uriel music star” and how she gave up on music.

“Those asking why my name is Urielmusicstar, is because I wanted to be the next Tiwa Savage then…” she wrote.

Recounting her last experience on stage, the reality tv star wrote, “I remember the day I gave up music sha. I got invited to perform after hyping myself online. I entered stage, it was like a dream. My right leg started vibrating, I was using one hand to hold leg, the other to hold microphone. I started singing, when I reach chorus, they come tell me to on the microphone.”

“Ok microphone on. I forgot my lyrics, I started singing amazing grace. After that day, I Dey run like Wolverine if I hear come perform.”

The former music star has now ventured into business and is currently a Chef and a content creator.
