Rema reached a new height in his discography with the release of the music video for Calm Down (Remix) featuring American pop and RNB singer Selena Gomez on Wednesday (September 7). The Mavin Records sensation now holds the record as the Nigerian musician with the most views on YouTube within 24 hours.

Calm Down (Remix) surpassed Davido’s record of 3 million views in the first 24 hours for the 2020 smash hit FEM.

Certainly, the star power of Selena Gomez would have played a huge part in Rema’s record-setting 3.3 million views in just 24 hours.

With more than 5 million views and counting, the video also currently sits on the #1 spot on the music section of trending videos on YouTube.
