Reminisce is returning to your speakers later this year. The rapper, singer, and actor, on Sunday, March 12, announced the track list for his long-anticipated fifth studio album ‘Alaye Toh Se Gogo’ or ‘ATSG’. Reminisce had not made any albums since 2016’s ‘El hadji’, which stretched 17 tracks and had the hit song ‘Konsignment’.
‘Alaye Toh Se Gogo’ translates to ‘the information is great’, suggesting that we might be getting treated to a lorry-load of wise sayings and street slang, which have always been in high supply from the ‘Ponmile’ singer’s songs. According to the note he shared, ‘ATSG’ will have 10 songs, and feature a star-studded ensemble of guest musicians, including Olamide, the sensational Victony, and Mayorkun.

Reminisce is respected and loved because of his style of music, infusing his predominant Yoruba lingo with some pidgin and floating them across instrumentals inspired by Hi-life, Juju, and Fuji music. His works are easily relatable to all classes of Nigerians, although people looking to sharpen their street credibility and street acumen might find them more essential. He has party songs as well as songs that offer good platforms for reflection and self-discovery.
Reminisce has said ‘ATSG’ will drop in May this year. Well, we can’t wait.
