Rumour has it that Rihanna will contribute two songs to the soundtrack of upcoming Marvel superhero movie ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’. It’s been six years since the Bajan mother of one released her own music. But Riri recently teased a new song while modeling a Fenty lounge wear, and sources say she’s been spending some time in the studio lately following her confirmation as the headliner for the 2023 Superbowl Halftime Show.
‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ is the second ‘Black Panther’ movie, and it will likely follow in the prequel’s footsteps of arriving with a star-studded, high-quality musical composition. Kendrick Lamar was employed to helm the first BP album and continues to be linked with the franchise after his record appeared in the official trailer for the upcoming sequel.
According to HitsDailyDouble, Rihanna will lend her talents to ‘BP: Wakanda Forever’ soundtrack album, with the project set to arrive via Marvel/Disney and Def Jam/Westbury Road channels.
However, although credit to Def Jam and Westbury Road suggest Rihanna’s involvement, we await confirmation from Rih’s people, as well as from Marvel and Disney.
‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ premieres in theatres worldwide on November 11 but first, check out the trailer below if you haven’t.
