Ghanaian rappers Sarkodie and Black Sherif have released the music video for their 2022 collaboration “Country Side”, straight out of Sarkodie’s seventh solo studio album ‘JAMZ’.
‘Country Side’ was released in November 2022 and was one of the many high-profile collaborations on ‘JAMZ’. On the song, Black Sherif reps with his ever-catchy hook, while Sark keeps the flow steady and hot. At one point, Sark recounts his journey to the top, “If I think about the place where I came from (huh)/And, all the things that I’ve been through,” with people always having an opinion about your story, “It’s kinda funny how you niggas wanna say some (whoa).”
The song is a refreshing take on the age-long subject and now gets a Prince Dolvo-direct video.
