Following a rather quiet year, singer could be set for new music after posting a cryptic message on his Instagram page on Tuesday, November 23.
“I stalled on purpose and y’all niggas couldn’t even catch up, damn. Now watch me go again!” read the IG post.
After label mate, Ayra Star released her first studio album, perhaps Mavin Records act Rema is back making music. Although there is nothing concrete yet, Rema did drop hints earlier regarding his first album. The Benin-born singer teased in a tweet back in July that the album is titled Raves and Roses.
The first part of that title is perhaps a tribute to his many followers referred to as Ravers, while also capturing his style of music, which he has out-rightly referred to as ‘Afro Rave’.
Rema’s last solo record was ‘Soundgasm’ which dropped in June this year. He featured in the soundtrack for EA Sports FIFA 22 video game for the second year running, via his appearance on London producer, Jae5’s ‘Dimension” with and Skepta.
