Singer Skiibii’s ex-lover DJ Dorcas Shola Fapson aka Ms DSF, during a recent interview with popular YouTuber Chude implied that the singer stole her belongings while both of them were on a vacation in Zanzibar, Tanzania.
In the interview, Dorcas claimed she had flown her now estranged lover and his manager to Zanzibar, and while she and Skiibii were in a room, she slept off and woke up to finding her suitcase tampered with, her two phones gone, 10K dollars in cash, designer clothes and jewelries. She shared that when she was losing her s**t, she asked her then lover, who was the only other person in the room before she slept, he appeared rather calm, saying that his neck chain and Cartier wrist watch were also stolen.
Ms DSF seemed to not believe her ex-boyfriend and according to her narration of the incident, she believes he had a hand in the robbery. She also added that when they returned to Nigeria, she saw Skiibii sporting the same wristwatch he claimed was stolen.
In response, Skibii’s and his management team released an official statement to clarify the incident, admitting they will pursue a lawsuit against Ms Fapson for defamation. In the memo, they colluded that DSF flew Skiibii to Tanzania in June 2022, but only as a birthday present. The memo also details the items stolen from Skiibii: two diamond necklaces, one rose gold Cartier wristwatch, four diamond rings, one iPhone, and cash in different currencies.
According to the memo, it was Skiibii that paid for the new villa where they lodged after the robbery– details which are missing in DSF’s story.
