Kanye West showcased a new haircut on his Instagram and fans didn’t quite know what to make of the 44-year-old rapper’s new look.
Kanye who produced Lil Nas X’s hit song “Industry Baby” that’s now occupying the number 1 position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart was also spotted in a meeting with former POTUS Donald Trump yesterday rocking a strange prosthetic face mask.
Seemingly everybody has something to say about Kanye West’s new hairstyle, and many have been clowning online. The billionaire stepped out in Sweden with a patchy haircut, revealing his scalp in parts.
Those who have been calling out Ye for his haircut include fellow rapper Soulja Boy, who’s not particularly a friend of the Good Life rapper.
“Somebody fucked Kanye head up,” wrote Soulja on Twitter. This follows his rant against Ye from a few weeks ago, which started when Soulja found out his verse was cut off of “Remote Control” off Ye’s album DONDA. Since then, he’s been trying to get Ye’s attention by constantly coming for him online.
Singer Chris Brown also didn’t have anything nice to say about Kanye’s haircut. Breezy turned ‘Ye into the subject of a roast-fest on his Instagram Stor a photo of ‘Ye’sy, sharing a picture of the patchy new hairstyle, calling it the “f*cked up worldwide fade.”
“N***a wanna make the ‘what the fuck’ in style,” Breezy continued. “He got the punishment haircut.”
Chris Brown is undeniably one of the foes that Kanye made following the release of his latest album. Brown’s feature in the project, like Soulja Boy’s was also removed.
Check out these other curated reactions from fans regarding Kanye’s new look:
“Wt*f is this cut brah.”
“WE ALL NEED JESÚS.”
“Barber: what you want? Ye: patchwork Barber: I got you fam.”
“Damnnn they messed you up cuz.”
“Kanye wt*f is this.”
Unilagolodo: “Lapalapa .”
“Shey no be ment be this.”
“Could be self created , adverse effect of meds or alopecia. One has to be very careful with passing opinion on things like this.”
“Hmmm I am speechless like I don’t even know what to say .”
We imagine Kanye wouldn’t be too upset with how people are reacting to his new look. It’s clearly not the first time the rapper is trying to be inventive, irrespective of how the initial reactions might be. Don’t be surprised if patchy hairstyles like this become a thing.
