Popular South African rapper and businessman, Rikhado Makhodo better known as Riky Rick has passed away.
According to several reports, the 34-year-old rapper committed suicide on Wednesday, February 23, 2020, at his house.
Sources have disclosed that the singer allegedly hung himself with a rope after suffering from severe depression.
He was reportedly rushed to a nearby hospital where he eventually gave up the ghost.
Although his family still remains in shock, they confirmed his passing in a statement.
They did not go divulge details about how the rapper passed, however, they say his career milestones will live forever.
In 2020, the rapper opened up about his struggle with depression after his father died.
He rose to stardom in 2015 after the release of his platinum-certified album Family Values.
He was also popularly known as a judge on The Voice South Africa
