Singing sensation Fireboy DML shared the second single Bandana off his upcoming third studio album, this time, featuring fellow YBNL Records mate Asake.
The song was teased a couple of weeks ago on social media, with Fireboy adding that it’s arrival would coincide with the unveiling of the track list for the soon-to-be released ‘Playboy’ album.
A lead titular single alongside its visual had been released earlier in the year, and Bandana will see Fireboy and Asake work together for the very first time since the latter got signed to YBNL in late 2021.
“Lowkey, all of them don dey notice/ I’m not joking all my guys dem dem know me/ Since ’06 I’ve been writing this story/ I no be OG but if you ask dem dem know me/” Firboy sings as the song opens. But its Asake’s chorus that will prove the most memorable part of Bandana.
“Na the love wey I see na im wey give me liver/ I be ghetto boy I be sinner/ Fear nobody only Jehovah/ And I thank the Lord I dey go far/ Usain Bolt Mo d’aleba/….” sings the ‘PBUY’ mastermind.
