TNC Africa finally has some of the good news diehard fans of their hit web series Little Black Book has been longing for.
It looks like a lot has happened since we last checked in on everyone’s favourite lovebirds Leo (Ikechukwu Onunaku) and Tade (Teniola Aladese). We don’t want to speculate, so we’re hoping the season premiere is somewhere around the corner.
The first season of Little Black book told the story of Tade, a brilliant business developer trying to get her life back on track after a series of failures, Leo, a millionaire hotel entrepreneur defying the odds to keep his business in the green, and a little black book of gorgeous women, unfolding truths and hidden desires between them.
Joining the quality cast this season are some even more seasons actors of caliber; this new line-up includes Kanayo O. Kanayo, Bimbo Akintola, Nengi Adoki, Paul Utomi, Michael Ejoor, Moet Abebe, Jude Chukwuka, and Helena Nelson.
Kanayo O. Kanayo is reported to be playing Leo’s estranged dad, Captain.
Little Black Book is based on the bestselling book of the same title by Sally Kenneth Dadzie, and it’s gone on to have a life of its own. The first season of the show was nominated for an AMVCA in the Best Writer category (Abosi Ogba, Sally Kenneth Dadzie, Lydia Idakula Sobogun, Olawale Adetula, and Belinda Yanga Agedah).
Returning cast members for this new season include Ikechukwu Onunaku, Teniola Aladese, Anee Icha, Floyd Igbo, Jeffrey Kanu, and Bimitan Adegoke, among others.
No release date has been announced for the season premiere.
