The Garden Theatre Unveils New Title, ‘Over The Bridge’

The Garden Theatre has revealed plans to delight movie lovers with its new feature film Over The Bridge directed by the talented Tolu Ajayi.

An illumination on the the mental health struggles in corporate Lagos, Over The Bridge follows the life of Folarin Marinho, a man who goes missing while working on a major project in Lagos. Following his disappearance, his wife is left with no option but to frantically search for her husband. It was written by Tosin Otudeko and produced by Bose Oshin.

Director, Tolu Ajayi while speaking about the film in an interview with shockng, expressed excitement about having to bring the emotional drama to life. He said;

“I am particularly excited about the audience being transported into an alternate, very slanted Lagos. The story moves us from the lofty towers of corporate central Lagos to the rustic beach locales of Iruoyin village ( actually shot in Akodo, Lagos)”.

He also added; “Over The Bridge is a modern parable, I hope the audience leaves the experience feeling emotionally engaged”

Principal photography for the new feature was completed on June 1st, 2022. A release date is yet to be announced.
