2022 Headies: Here’s BNXN fka Buju’s prize for winning the highly coveted Next Rated award

The Headies, Nigeria’s most prestigious music award has wrapped up its 2022 edition and the 15th Edition last night. The show as colourful as ever was taken overseas this time around, hosted in Atlanta Georgia, USA.

The category for The Next Rated Artist presented to the most promising upcoming act in the year under review was contested by a very strong lineup including BNXN fka Buju, Ayra Starr, Lojay, Zinoleesky, with BNXN coming out on top.

The winners of previous editions had been gifted with SUVs, with Rema picking up the GAC Sports Utility Vehicle in 2021. However, this year marked a huge upgrade, as BNXN scored a brand new 2022 Bentley Bentayga with an MSRP of $196,125 (approximately 85 million Naira) as Next Rated artist in 2022. 😍
