Ted Lasso‘s breakout and fan-favourite Toheeb Jimoh is set to serenade fans with his performance in Prime VIdeo’s The Power.
Based on a book of the same title from Naomi Alderman, The Power tells the story of some teenage girls who suddenly and mysteriously develop a special power that allows them to electrocute people at will. These girls cut across different demography of the world,from London to Seattle and Nigeria to Eastern Europe, and Toheeb Jimoh will star as a Nigerian reporter named Tunde Ojo who sets out to cover the story.
The series also stars Toni Collette, Halle Bush, John Leguizamo, Auli’i Cravalho, Josh Charles, Eddie Marsan, Ria Zmitrowicz, and Zrinka Cvitešić.
It debuts on Prime Video on MArch 31, 2023.
