The Sequel to Old Nollywood Classic, Domitilla is Underway

FilmOne Entertainment in collaboration with Zeb Ejiro Productions, and Omoni Oboli’s Dioni Vision, are in the works to produce the sequel to 1996 Nollywood classic, “Domitilla”.

According to the producers, the project is a response to recent demands by fans of the first Domitilla, which was a favourite on home screens in the 1990s.

The crime drama follows the story of a young woman, Domitilla who gets into adventurous romantic escapades for survival. She and her gang of prostitute friends are unfortunately caught up in the mysterious death of a politician and must do everything possible to prove their innocence.

Directed by veteran director, Zeb Ejiro, it featured A-list actors including Anne Njemanze, Sandra Achums, Kate Henshaw, Adah Ameh and the late Enebeli Elebuwa.

While production is still underway, FilmOne Entertainment has announced a call to audition, listing out the requirements for the role of ‘Domitilla’ in the movie’s sequel.
