This year’s The Voice Nigeria has been on for twelve strenuous weeks in search for the best singing talents in the country. Although, the deciding vote lies in the hands of the viewers during the live shows, the coaches were responsible for picking out the best talents.
It’s finally the live shows this weekend and time for the contestants to impress the viewers with an incredible show. Let’s take a quick look at the top 8 contestants of this season’s The Voice Nigeria and their journey to the Live show.
Team Falz
29-years-old powerhouse, Naomi Mac Paladini from Delta State. All of her performances have been exceptional.
Dapo Zacchaeus, 28 years from Lagos State. His remarkable audition earned him four chair turns.
Team Waje
Inioluwa Adeyemi, 21 years from Kwara State. He had Waje and Falz fighting to have him on their team during the auditions.
Elizabeth “Eazzie” Osesiameh, 24 years from Edo State. She impressed the coaches with her rendition of Rihanna’s “Love on the brain” at the auditions.
Team Yemi Alade
29-years-old, Anu Akinlagun from Lagos State. She possesses a great voice, and a charming smile to go along with it.
Oketete “Kitay” Okiemute, 25 years from Delta State. Although, Yemi was the only coach that turned during the auditions, he has continuously marveled the rest of the coaches.
Team Darey
20-years-old Afrobeat singer, Oghenekpabor “Kpee” Okoro. His captivating swag, moves and tenacity has him distinct amongst other singers.
Esther Benyeogo, 23 years from Delta State. She’s the only contestant that had Waje in tears during the auditions. Needless to say, she had all four chairs turned as well.

However, with the season’s new development, one talent from each team who didn’t make it from the battles can be saved by the viewers’ vote. This simply means the acts to perform at the Live shows would sum up to twelve (12).
You can watch the show on African Magic Showcase, Urban, and Family on Saturdays at 8 pm, with a repeat on Sundays on AIT, Views TV, Wazobia TV, and Wazobia TV Max by 8 pm.
