The Voice Nigeria Season 3: #TeamYemi and #TeamDarey are set for the battles

Episode 12 sees TeamYemi and TeamDarey battling on stage to clinch a spot in the live shows.

It’s the second round of the battles and time for #TeamYemi and #TeamDarey to sing all out for a spot in the live shows.

This episode was particularly entertaining and the coaches had a tougher time making a choice.

TeamYemi started off the show with Kitay and Vanilla storming the stage to perform “Uptown funk” by Bruno Mars. Although, it was energetic, it came off as a bit chaotic.

Toeseen and Anu on the other hand delivered a soulful and coordinated rendition of Rihanna’s “Stay”. The coaches were marveled at how soothing their voices were and this in turn, made Yemi’s decision harder.

Although, their pairing came as a shock to both of them, Jeremiah and Esther shined in their vocals as they sang melodiously to Teni’s “Uyo Meyo”.

While Rachel was taken out of her comfort zone after she was paired with Afrobeat singer, Kpee. They performed D’banj’s hit single “Oliver Twist” and had their coach utterly impressed.

However, only four talents (two from each team) made it to the live shows. Kitay and Anu for TeamYemi; Kpee and Esther for TeamDarey.

The remaining talents (one from each team) still stand chance to be voted in by viewers for a place in the live shows.
