For this week, we are looking back at Michael Ezeanyaeche‘s 2003 action packed thriller, Abuja Connections.
The film was focused on the rivalry and struggle for money and power between Jennifer and Sophia played by Clarion Chukwuka and Eucharia Anunobi respectively.
It showed the importance of having influential connections in Abuja and how it bridged the line between wealth and poverty. Other members of cast included were Ngozi Ezeonu, Emeka Ani, Chidi Mokeme and late veteran actor, Enebeli Elebuwa.
Abuja Connections was particularly memorable for it’s teaser which saw Anunobi pounding a man in form of a ritual.
